Croatia feels like a totally different world. It makes you feel like you've traveled back in time thousands of years ago!
To get to Croatia- Mackenzie and I flew from Athens, Greece to Dubrovnik, Croatia through Croatia Airlines. It was a pretty fast flight and nice airline company. Unfortunately, we only had one night in Dubrovnik. We thought we had more time but planned it out wrong. Sometimes, things don't go as planned but I believe we made the most of it! I would recommend at least 2 days (a lot of people we talked to said 3/4 days is the perfect amount). We arrived late at night and had to catch our Flix Bus early the next morning to Split. If you are in Croatia- Flix Bus is AMAZING! It's a very inexpensive way to get around. We used this the entire time we were there. We stayed at Hostel Lina located at Od Gaja 44 ,Dubrovnik ,Croatia. For one night here, I payed $22.41. They arranged pickup for us from the airport. This was a great hostel and the owner was extremely friendly & knowledgable about the city. We then walked all the way to Old Town Dubrovnik and saw some famous Game of Thrones places at night. We got a quick bite to eat at Stay or Takeaway Bar. This was one of the most incredible cities I've been to. It looked like it hadn't changed from the medieval times!!! We checked out the fortress: Tvrđava Minčeta, the gates: Vrata od Buže & Pile Gate, the Jesuit Church of St. Ignatius of Loyola & the Jesuit Stairs. If you are a big Game of Thrones fan - this is where most of Kings's Landing is filmed!! See if you can tell by these photos!
